It's hard to believe how
fast time flies by. It was like yesterday, dancing to Lady Gaga's
”Bad Romance” in gay clubs. It felt like getting hit by a brick
and getting a permanent head injury. I remember showing it to my
friends and seeing their mouths dropping to the floor. It was
November 2009.
The story of this video is
rather funny if you think about it. You can translate the plot in
many ways as you wish. In the beginning, after the intro, white latex
monsters wake up out of their coffins. Which describes some of us in
the morning, waking up after a party, pretty ugly and puffy. Then the
“monster” or The Mother Monster, will be washed, cleaned up,
dragged through some esoteric transformation, pretty upped, and then
introduced to the males. It remind somehow of animal kingdom: female
picks the male, then they will mate and the male will be murdered by
the female.
It's timeless, I am still
entertained by this video.
